of course, it makes me think of the FUNNIEST eyelash scene evar in a movie, in the By God Only One That Counts Original "yours, mine, and ours" starring henry fonda and lucille ball. they're in a EVERY crowded bar in san fransisco and her eyelashes come loose. funny, funny stuff...
better than the remake, to be sure. not only that, but it was based on a TRUE story, and it actually followed the book that the couple wrote about blending two large (catholic) families in the 60's. the husband of the woman had died in a military accident (he was a navy pilot) and the wife of the man had died of something i don't recall. i think the totals were 8 kids on her side and 10 on his side...and they went on to have one of their own (that's where the book/movie ended).
A few years ago, I saw a friend's Facebook post where she wore lashes kind of like that to a new year's eve party. She looked liked she had feathers stuck on her eyelids. It was an interesting look, but I can't say I thought it was attractive.
