And I'm not sure this kitty is happy about all the hair spray fumes.  Also wtf "softly... softly"?

Ah, the days when you had your shoes resoled and reheeled instead of just throwing them away and buying new ones... A few years ago I had two pairs of Florsheim wing-tips that I wore every day for about three years, and I had them both resoled and reheeled (one pair twice). Those Cat's Paw heels were great.

Actually, whenever there's a recession, more people tend to get their shoes repaired; as a confirmed pedestrian, I get my shoes repaired regularly, and always have taps put on the soles.

The nuns in grammar school used to have a fit when someone wore shoes with taps. I think it was more because of the damage they claimed the taps did to the floors.
