a little over 20 years ago, there was a parasite lodged in me.

no matter what was suggested, the paraside would NOT be evicted, not even after a formal eviction notice. after the due date had passed by 11 days, my bestie brought over the VHS copy of rocky horror, and we watched, she and i getting up and dancing to the timewarp and laughing our asses off.

the beastlyboy arrived on the 12th day past the due date. or as i tell him when i'm guilting him: "after TWENTY EIGHT hours of HARD LABOR the doctors had to RIP YOU FROM MY BELLY!!" *smug grin* i'm such a great mama, right?

BTW, he thinks that line is pretty damn funny. he rolls his eyes and says "ok mom, what do you want me to do NOW?" :D

Oh shit! every Saturday night we used to go to the theater on Madison in Lakewood Ohio, which at the time was the 3rd largest gay community in the US. It was a blast with all the Drag Queens and their finery. of course they sat on the side aisles to make sure they didn't get wet.

so yeah, I know all the lines to every song as well.

I went to a midnight showing once with my husband & his coworkers...someone decided to invite the homophobic hardball guy for some reason. It was entertaining, to say the least.
