It's hot here. Like 110°F (42°C) tomorrow hot. And our AC gave up. As I sit here under the fan (in an 88° house), I imagine I have one of these wonderful devices:
The one about "Cool Shopping Comfort" amuses me... I saw a vintage photo of a local department store where a big sign draped over the shopping areas said "Air Conditioning is being installed for your shopping comfort." I hadn't thought about it before, but shopping really must have been a hellish process before it came about! Who would want to try on clothes covered in sweat?
