I wonder if people did that ice block full of canned drinks in the pool as a thing? Or still do? It seems pretty awesome, but I'm imagining all the cans ending up all over the pool because they don't get taken from the ice fast enough, haha.

It'd probably take that ice forever to melt. It seems like you'd end up with cans of frozen Pepsi, so you'd have to wait for those to thaw out too. I think you'd be better off with a cooler and some ice.

I honestly can't see this working for soft drinks, but I think it would work for beer. And just how big does your freezer have to be to get an ice block this big? Seems like it would take forever to freeze to.
