Gotta love the girl's hair! Step 1: wrap front part of hair around hot curling iron. Step 2: hold for several seconds or until you smell burning hair. DO NOT BRUSH OUT! Step 3: spray with massive amounts of ozone-depleting hair spray to set.

And, yes, there are incriminating photos of me somewhere with hair like that.

Not until he's done with me. I can't remember what brand of hairspray I used, but I remember those maroon cans of Vidal Sassoon mousse being ever present on my dresser from 1984 to 1987.

Good thing I've been planting trees! :)

I was a purple can aqua net user myself in the 80's! I could stand in the middle of a tornado with not a hair outta place.

I need to google to see if I can find this recipe!

Wow, that is a blast from the past--I remember my mom and grandma making frozen desserts in the aluminum ice cube trays like that!

I have had much success with this ice box cake.

The perfect cake to make in these hot summer days.

Or, instead of using half a 12 oz. can of lemonade, you could double the recipe and make two. I could eat one.

Ok... I'm half awake and obviously didn't read down the comments list far enough LOL! I see a couple of recipes and I'm saving them.

When we were young, my sister and cousin used to make Stir & Frost cakes during family get-togethers. Their tendency to take “snapshots” of the batter before throwing it in the oven meant that the actual cake was barely thicker than the layer of frosting,

Those were the best cakes - and I wish they were still available. If only because I'm lazy and it would be one less pan to wash. :)

I remember those cakes when I was a child. But there were 5 in our family and they were NEVER big enough! We thought the little pan and everything "all in one" was so amazing.
