I went to San Diego many many moons ago! Stayed in LaJolla though, so that counts? as San Diego? Close??

thank you!! :) I stayed at the travel lodge in lajolla a block from windansea beach, which is where i walked myself every day for 'sunning'....exploring, as far as i am concerned, can always be done in non-prime sunning hours!

San Diego used to be so idyllic...only 20 years or so ago. Loved it. Now it's a huge metropolis that has lost much of its charm. Still love the rejuvenated gaslight district and Balboa Park but the eastern wilds have certainly gone suburban.

I loved it, the Gaslight was great, we even hit up a ball game. La Jolla was also awesome.

Love these. Have a great time! Be sure to visit Little Italy, just north of downtown. It's awesome.
