I used to die laughing every time I watched it.

I loved when the dummy (can't recall his name offhand) was put in the fridge and when he got out said "you know that light stays on"

Chuck was the human and Bob was the dummy.

Never watched this show, but I remember it being on (reruns?) when I was really little.

OMG. i loved that show!! was forbidden to watch it when it first came out (along with mary hartman, mary hartman) because mama really tried to keep us sheltered.

I LOVED this show! I would catch the re-runs when I was in middle school, my other friends just didn't understand why I needed to get home from school to watch Soup. Wonder how it is now that I would get most of the jokes HA

This was a great show. It was subtle, sarcastic, "hip" with the times, and it pushed forward some great careers.

Billy Crystal...wow, yeah. There's a career that outlived its beginnings. Sort of like Tom Hanks and his small-screen cross-dressing in Bosom Buddies.

Still can't believe they just ended the show dead, several cliffhangers and all. Many people I knew were all like "What the hell happened?"

They pretty much did that on purpose, as befitted it's soap-opera spoofing origins.

Benson was my role model growing up, even moreso when he got his own spinoff.
