I remember Moore getting pounded back in the 90s. I do not miss living in Tornado Alley one bit! God bless folks there and the ones on their way to help.

Tough place out there. Dust bowl and tornados. Hard life.

My roots run pretty deep in that part of the world. All four of my grandparents lived in Kansas during the Dust Bowl. I lived in Oklahoma for a short while when I was little and eventually ended up in Texas for 22 years. Somehow I managed never to be in a tornado myself, but some came pretty close and I definitely saw the aftermath on many occasions. The weird thing is that I never saw a tornado up close until I moved to South Carolina. It was just a little F0 or F1, but still scary to watch! I just cannot imagine being in one of those F5s.
