"Ken-tucky Fried Chicken, seven days a week..." There was a conversation recently (might have been here, I don't know) where someone remarked that the "eleven herbs and spices" taste different than they did forty years ago. No doubt the folks at Yum Brands have changed them.

The flavor varies by country, too, at least what I've had. The Colonel probably took the secret to his grave and they've been winging it ever since.

(Winging it. Ha! Didn't notice it until I typed it.)

I was thinking about this just the other day. The KFC that we eat nowadays does seem to taste different than it did in the 80s (when I was a kid). It's still good, just different. *sighs*

My mom would *not* have been amused. There would have been a putting of the chicken in the fridge, and a "we're going out for dinner" to my dad.
