Yes, I do collect vintage magazines! My room is plastered with them also. I used to have lot more when I was in high school a few years ago, but sadly I cut them all up for art projects :( Now I am smarter and take photos beforehand! Another blow is that since I moved house, I can't walk to yard sales any longer (I would have to get up at 5 AM). Happily, my university hosts a few book sales annually, so I've learnt to grab things then. So far: the 60s French ones have come from a few 1969 issues of 'Modes et travaux,' a women's housekeeping magazine; the more housewifely English ones (like this one) are from a 1963 issue of Chatelaine, a Canadian women's mag; and the more luxurious 50s-60s English perfume, fur etc ads come from a huge stack of New York Playbills. In the very beginning I posted some from Swedish playbills also. The Japanese, Russian, and German ones, oh and the older American ones, come from a host of library books (Thank you University of Toronto!). And yes, more crackery s'il vous plait!
