write_light's Convair ad reminded me of their wonderful, but complete commercial flop, the Convair 880. Ii was at the time, the fastest commercial Airliner. It was beautiful.

The Convair 880 was considered the "Pilot's Airplane". I love when new aircraft are promoted they always show a "lounge" or socialising area rather than the rows of crammed seats that become reality.
