i've always wanted a 'chris hanson is on line one' tag....but that wouldn't translate well to our friends who don't have english as their first language....'have a seat here'? 'pedobear approved'? this is beyond creepy!!! so so bizarre!!

"Pedobear approved" is pretty good for this specific campaign, although I sort of hate to even have that tag. We have "creepy kids," but not just plain "creepy." Maybe that might be better. Obviously this seemed fine at the time, but when we look at it, we see it through the lens of remembering some very unfortunate events...and a sort of sad presumption that predators are everywhere.

I was also going to make a joke in the post saying "This is so wrong...he's wearing a doctoral robe with a mortarboard rather than a doctoral tam," but I figured there are few enough people in the world who care about academic regalia that the joke wasn't really going to work.

creepy kids is more for kids that LOOK creepy as in 'they will be eat your brains' or something like that.....

i agree with the sentiment about hating to have that tag---that's why we don't have it....i always sort of WISH we had it, but no, it's wrong, ya know? maybe something like "this ain't right" ???

i honestly wouldn't know about academic regalia! so yeah, i wouldn't have gotten that! and i'm impressed you NOTICED that with everything else going on in this ad!!!

I don't get the first one. Why did this nasty old man undress the boy and suspend him in the middle of a classroom, in front of a chalkboard? Is it a sort of punishment, or what?

Oh, I see now. This is what they call "suspension". Very clever. A three-day suspension surely straightens up the meanest of brats.
