Crispy! My brand was Studio Line. Apply mouse to wet hair, flip upside down and dry while scrunching, curl bangs and finish with extra hold hairspray. My usual cut was most like #3 here, with the wisps curled toward the face, though not that much.

Does anyone else remember the special Barbie and Ken dolls that came with their own little vial of Dep styling gel? (And Ken had "real" hair!) They might have come out 4 years after this ad...I know I had a couple of them.
