We've had Loomis's book Fun with a Pencil since before I was born — a great book on how to draw, from the basics to building a world and populating it. Helping a professional (artist of dozens of classic MAD covers) move, he had several Loomis books and swore by them.

I would LOVE to have a handbasin, especially a luxurious one like this, in my bedroom. Never mind that I have no idea how I'd work out the plumbing, plus the cats would use it as another place to climb/sit in, and there's no real reason for it as the bathroom's just down the hall...
