OK, have no idea how zombies tie into instant coffee unless you're positing that instant coffee is to coffee as zombies are to free humans, which seems valid. In response I offer another Bela flick, co-star Karloff, The Black Cat. Despite the title it has nothing to do with the Poe story, but a terrific, creepy, and fabulously stylish horror movie not as well known as it should be. (Looks like a lovely clean print, too.)

I don't specifically recall, but coffee may be consumed in the movie at some point, but there certainly are zombiesque elements to The Black Cat. Sorta.
