Ahh...the infamous Jimmy Carter "I've committed adultery in my heart" Playboy interview. It is hard to explain what a huge deal this interview was back in '76. What he said, where he said it, and how it clashed with who he claimed to be. Which was actually who he turned out to be in the long run.

A better shot of the Playboy cover, and a bit about the interview, can be seen here (http://willrabbe.com/microblog/2011/5/26/jimmy-carters-controversial-playboy-interview.html).

I remember that even though I was only 10. It was a huge deal back then. I was just confused about why people would want to read about politics in a magazine full of naked women. I didn't know much about the world at that age, but I could figure out that much! It's a shame that Playboy often degrades itself that way.
