Weekend Event & Monday One Day Event

Our 70s Decor Contest is still ongoing and entries will be accepted thru Tuesday---i'll post the finalists Wednesday (i'll post a reminder Monday!)

Starting TOMORROW!!!! Weekend Event Friday October 5th thru Sunday October 7th: Autumn/Fall themed ads: Ads with the theme of Autumn/Fall (I call it Fall, i think officially it's Autumn). Oh look, I found an article about this, Why does autumn/fall have two names? Yes, I am aware that we have friends in the Southern Hemisphere who are having SPRING right now! If you wish to post Spring in Australia ads you are more than welcome too! How about Season of your Hemisphere Ads for this weekend?


For ONE DAY EVENT ON MONDAY!!!! October 8th: Columbus Day in the USA: let's honor our roots and post Columbus ads (yes that could mean Columbus Ohio, the Knights of Columbus, etc) AND Native American ads (they were here first!!) and yes, ads with Vikings too, they discovered America before Columbus---who really didn't discover 'America', hmmmm typing this, this sounds all weird, but let's post ads in this spirit for Columbus Day! yes, a WEIRD spirit!

I call Columbus Day "Genocide Day."

i agree!!! that's why i included American Indian ads or even Vikings.....though of course Columbus and the Spaniards brought the 'evil' to the Americas.....the destruction of Central and South American cultures and history.....the beginning of the genocide of American Indians.....
