These were the dishes my folks got as wedding "china". Mostly the blue, but some yellow and ivory. For some reason, I never appreciated how cool it was until many years later. These were our everyday dishes. I'd love a set of the turquoise.

Then Andy Warhol drove the prices up by becoming a big collector. Thanks, man.

I would have fought you for that orange water jug thingy but I prefer cobalt blue. I love the shape of it!

My mother has several plates and a few serving dishes, too. They'll probably go to my own SIL who also collects the stuff. I don't mind! Besides that beautiful carafe I'm not much of a Fiesta person.

I know someone with a bright orange pitcher. It has a tag on the bottom put there by the Canadian Nuclear Regulatory Commission stating that it was tested and has uranium glaze and should not be used for acidic drinks.

I've not seen Fiesta forks, spoons, or tumblers before! That's cool. There's quite a few of the dinner plates and bowls around my house.

Yay! Another Fiesta collector! I love you pictures of your collection. I really need to do that to document mine. I love your relish trays, I can't seem to find one with all the pieces in good condition.

Yeah, the old orange Fiesta Ware is radioactive. We have a plate of it at work to show people about radioactivity in the home...it really sets off the geiger counter! So does old Vaseline glass for the same reason. Uranium.

I love Fiesta Ware. When I was a kid, my Godmother had a set. It was multi colored. She always gave me red plates. ^-^

I've heard them called "Fagware" by two different gay men of a certain generation. I guess it was too colourful for straight men at some point in history.

Fiesta Ware will never die or lose its appeal.
