Oh yes, my cousins used to fight for the rinds of the fresh-cut bacon my great-grandmother would serve. They were sometimes impossible to chew, and when I realized it was the skin, I stayed away from it. *shudder*

You know what, I think I'll just eat this old pair of Crocs instead--a lot less rubbery and a heck of a lot more tasty. Leave the bacon, though. It doesn't look like you effed it up too badly.
