The tagline for this one is " He Couldn't Say No... So He Bought Wedding Rings by the Carload". Evidently it's a comedy.

Okay, this is all kinds of creepy, but my thought is, why can't men wear top hats and monocles anymore!

Frankly, my dear, because most of us don't go around grimacing all the time.

He reminds me of a boss in World of Warcraft:

"I'm Randolph Moloch, and I'll be kill--err, marrying you this evening!"

After my grandmother died we found newspaper clippings (or printouts therefrom) from many years ago in her effects. One of them was from before she had married my grandfather. It was a column that noted that local bandleader Jimmie Koa (granddad's stage name) had married another one of the girls in his act. I guess the implication was that he wanted to sleep with his dancing girls but they wouldn't do it without a ring. There'd be a quickie divorce, the girl would stay in his act with no hard feelings, and the cycle would start all over again. In the end, I think grandma was his 4th or 5th wife. Pretty impressive stuff for a guy who eventually served 3 missions for the Mormon Church! Grandpa didn't wear a top hat or monocle - he was more a toupee-and-lava-lava kind of guy.

What makes this creepier (IMO) is that the man has a Charlie McCarthy look to him.
