I thought of that, but it said he was only home for 30 hours, so presumably, he's going to go back to the war. And then.. never go home again? Super depressing.
Voting is closed but this would have been a yes for me. Bittersweet and very much a mirror of what people had to go through then.
My dad had to take an emergency flight home to see his mother,who they thought was dying (happily she recovered) and then had to go back to Korea and the war.
