My mom had a set like that for the longest time, in green I think.. I remember especially the Train Case. But hers was older -- I think she got them when she married in 1950.

I remember my mom had the set in blue. She had the train case up until I was at least in my teens, in the early 80s. Pretty sure they had been her parents'.

It's called a train case, eh? We had a grey one in our family, formerly Grandmama's of course, and it was useful for everything. It'd be perfect to have now for those overhead airline bins.

I love to travel with my old suitcases. Stuff doesn't get crushed and smooshed as much, but they do add some weight and it's a good idea to use a strap because they do have the annoying habit of popping open.
