I wonder if you make it with less water/milk so that the filling is stiffer than regular butterscotch pudding... I could see that being kind of a mess otherwise.
I'm voting yes because they didn't have food artists overwork that pie. It looks like a real pudding pie someone would make in their own kitchen though I could never get the first slice to come out that cleanly.
