"Mom's Apple Pie" was a horn band from Ohio; the cover of this album—yes, I did look for an ad, so if you want, I'll take this down—represents their fifteen minutes of fame, though.

I have a vague recollection of this controversary; although I think it was more in 'legend' mode by the time I heard it; I was 4-5 when it came out.

The link itself was interesting. I didn't know that about the U2 album - that was probably the dumbest one on there.
