Yes! Because this is a pretty creative way to use pie, though I'm not sure if the world is ready for fish pie. Though Ginger did make it when she had to pretend to be Mary Ann. ;)
Yeah, the closest the US comes to savory pies most of the time are individually-sized "pot pies", and fish is not a flavor those ever come in -- turkey, beef and chicken are common. I like the idea myself, but I'm weird that way.
Ha ha, my mom used to make something like this in the 1970's. It was called "Tuna Crunch Pie". It had Tuna, mayo, sour cream, onions, dill and eggs all mixed together in the middle of it. The crust was a cheddar pie crust and there was cheddar pie crust crumble, with walnuts, on top of it.
Sounds weird but I still get a craving for it occasionally!

We generally don't have fish pie, though have dishes close to it. I love fish myself! :)
