Just saw this. :(

I need to see WHMS again. I had forgotten many of those great lines. The best of Ephron's screenplays, IMO.

But I loved it, and the ideas, and the changes in the characters, and the amount of information that was portrayed without saying a word.

A great loss. I know what movie I'm putting on my computer this afternoon. (I tend to play a movie while I'm cleaning the house)

That does seem odd, doesn't it? I'm pretty sure PG-13 had been around for awhile by then. I don't remember any butts or boobs and I don't recall the sex scenes being particularly graphic. No violence, either, so that wasn't it. I guess a few smatterings of the F word is all it took.

I don't know if they've relaxed their standards in recent years, but I know the MPAA's rule was:
- 1 non-sexual use of the word fuck = PG-13
- 1 sexual or 2 (or more) non-sexual uses = R
