All giggles about the "Want a Boy?" text aside, this is a picture of an actual telegram from Laura Ingalls Wilder, and it was from a book called "Laura's Album" compiled by William Anderson. It is done scrapbook-style, as you can probably tell by the superimposed illustration over the picture of the telegram.
I've always loved Laura Ingalls Wilder and all the Little House stories, and I thought this was an interesting find. Enjoy! :)
