I find it very amusing that they call it "the highly controversial death-and-life issue." I mean, it is controversial but they make it sound like it had been in the headlines every day for weeks sparking heated debates.

I looked for the date right away. Feb. is a Nielsen sweeps month, when the all-important ratings for local newscasts are gathered, so the special series come a'bubblin' and a'splashin', heavy on sensationalism and idjit overdramatization. After decades of this, the newsrooms still haven't grown a sense of embarrassment.
