Why no. She is looking at the packet thinking "well thank goodness for these new soft Philip Morris cigarettes. No harm if I smoke one while carrying around Baby!"
I love this ad. Reminds me of the scar I still carry on my wrist from when my ever-smoking mum accidentally burned me as an infant. I had asthma too...but nothing was more important than smoking. Hooray for mothers and smoking!
My Mom used to..like..lick her hands and then rub my hair to try and control my hair from doing its wild thing. Her spit smelled of tobacco and I walked around, disgusted even at age 6, by the smell, and general yukkiness of it.
Mine never burned me, but I did have the smoke-spit scented hair and she would give us her Zippo lighter as a teething toy. I can still taste the lighter fluid.
