Yes, Goober had his own show! It was AMAYZING! :D

George Lindsey passed away Sunday, but I just now heard. I know he shilled various things through the years, but I can't remember any products so this was the best I could do. Even most Andy Griffith Show ads I found didn't feature him much. 

Maybe we could have a Rest in Peace or In Memoriam tag? Seems like we've been needing it a lot lately. :(

what would be better? Rest in Peace or In Memoriam? good idea for a tag, though a sad reason for it.....we should take into account our foreign members and what word/words would be best to use......

I would be interested to hear from the community, too! "In memoriam" seems to be becoming more popular now--at least to me. Maybe I'm just noticing it more.

I saw the news this morning. I grew up in a household where my dad was an Andy Griffith Show fan as well as Hee Haw. I'll always remember Goober's signature line: "Tell 'em Goober says 'Hey'!"
