I flew them round trip ones. BOS-DUB. They were great. I still remember the awesome flight attendant on my way back home.

Which one. I assume you mean the Meatball livery? They had two of those. The black one, I believe is loved by the continental folks. The red one was during Frank Lorenzo, and despised.

I just took a look and all my continental models are red meatballs oh no!

Its interesting how many company's adopted that meatball icon during the 60's and 70's. I wonder why.

I didn't even picture a thing on the tail, just the gold. But that thing is a GLOBE motif, and that's what they all aspired to, from PanAm on down.

I think other company's took the meatball too. That's what Continental called it, but no you are right it is a globe. I was thinking of ATT, Pan AM, and others.
