Windex, 1937

And I can actually recall my mom using "just a little" Drano, weekly, in every drain.

Well, maintaining your pipes on a weekly basis WILL keep them flowing faster and reduce the likelihood of clogs. However, pouring boiling water down there weekly will do the job just as well as drano or, for the doubtful (or those who sometimes toss bacon fat down there, bad bad!), pouring a little dishwashing soap and THEN boiling water.

Yeah, but my breath is free!

I also think the bottle is really cool! I would totally keep that for other purposes.

Drano day sounds like a great idea! "Nobody bother me! It's Drano day!" Of course, I would be done in 2 minutes, but my family doesn't need to know that. "Honey, I gotta go get more Drano. It's a lengthy process so I'll be gone all day. And, um, they sell it Massage Envy so that's what you'll see on the credit card statement."

Is that a chiffon evening dress she's wearing to clean the windows?

I like that they described doing household chores as "what a joy".
