Cafiaspirina "A Hora do Carnaval" (1926)
Apr. 10th, 2012 07:48 pmI have to admit that those Cafiaspirina ads kinda grew on me. Now I just find them really well made ads, and proves that to be a good ad it doesn't have to be pretty. Because even though I like those ads now, their design is not one of the best XD
I wrote the original with the present Portuguese spelling, so if you notice some diference with the spelling on the ad, that's why =)
This ad was harder to translate than the other Cafiaspirina one I did, so forgive me for any mistakes or confusing parts!
CHEGOU A HORA!
Finalmente chegou, ruidosa e louca, a Hora do Carnaval.

"THE TIME HAS ARRIVED!
The time of Carnival has finally arrived, noisily and wildily. Let's go to your Majesty's row!
The hours of suffering, affliction, the hours of anxiety and struggle, the hours of monotony and sadness, all of them yield to Carnival's magical impulse and are burried beneath the wave of joy that comes with a Happy Hour.
Let us be carried by this vast multicolor wave. Let's laugh, let's forget and, like the other people, let's surrend ourselves to this revelry. We are daily whipped without mercy by the surges of our life's ocean. Since this perfumed wave comes to caress us, let us be caressed! And to be sure that our constant enemy, the physical pain, won't be able to bitter our happiness, let's take everywhere a tube of CAFIASPIRINA."
