Ads like this make me wonder what garbage advertisers tell us now that we'll laugh at in 40 years - and reminds me to question the ads I do see nowadays. Here they are touting corn syrup, our latest nutritional evil!

Normal corn syrup, as the Dionne Quints ate, isn't any worse than white sugar, molasses, etc. It's the high fructose corn syrup that people are concerned with because it's made by a different process and metabolizes in the body differently.

I have this very Dionne Quint ad hanging in my dining room. I loved the Dionne Quints when I was in high school back in the late 70s. Went to an antique fair at the local mall and I browsed through old magazine ads and among all the Dionne ones, this was my favorite!
