Wow! I love this ad! The colors, all the figures, the fashions! I'm drooling!

Yes

I love those clothes... except for the knickerbockers. Never a good idea, knickerbockers!

They all look like they're wearing sacks. Just hanging, shapeless things---UGLY.

Neat. It's interesting to see what fashion was like back in the 20s.

YES YES YES

As I said, I adore vintage fashion. The 1920s were not my favorite era, but if you ever had a chance to handle these garments and examine the construction, you would be floored by the beauty and intricacy.

I completely agree! So much skill went into making clothes then, whether home-sewn or store bought (...or from your haute couturiere!).

Very pretty ad, the illustrations remind me of paper cutout/dress-up dolls. ^_^

There is some truth to that. And it seems we've come full circle, as I work in retail and a lot of the juniors' and girls' clothing is now hanging, shapeless sweaters and shirts.

Yeah. I love vintage clothes, but this is definitely not my favorite era! I like waist and bust definition. This kind of sack would just make me look pregnant and/or dumpy.

I love 20's fashions, even though they'd be none too flattering on my body type. They're just really elegant-looking. And after the long reign of the corset, they must have felt great, too.
