vintageadsSorry i'm posting the rules late in the evening! I had to go over where Eddie is still staying (his sisters) and she has the absolute slowest wifi in the world (i was trying to show Eddie how to upload an album to facebook, which should have taken about 20 minutes, but it took over 3 hours because it took 30 minutes for facebook to load!!! WTF?!?!?! it's like this ALL THE TIME over there! at least Eddie hadn't gotten hooked on the internet so he's not that frustrated with the slowness, but i mean, this is slower than DIAL UP! ---she has time warner some kind of special modem for wifi and it's total crap....).....ANYWAY, back to business....
TOMORROW!! April 2nd, our contest starts!! THEME IS: SPRING!!!!!!!!!!
Spring as in??? As in the season (so yes, ads that just show spring scenes are fine); as in the word also---meaning the word 'spring' in the product name or even the product (ie: Irish Spring soap or bed springs)....be creative!! if you have questions, just message me or leave a comment here!!
RULES (yes i know, i don't like 'em either, but we gotta have 'em)....
1. you MUST put at LEAST 'contest' in the subject line or i will not count votes for that post!
2. all our regular rules apply (1992 & before, etc etc etc) EXCEPT, only ONE ad per contest entry! (if you want to post something with your ad that is NOT an entry, please make that clear in your post).....
3. print and video ads are fine, both are being accepted together (no separate contest)...
4. VOTING: this is via a YES in the comments.....not a 'i like this ad' (you can certainly make that comment, but it's not a vote)....i even read a comment a month or so ago where someone wrote 'this is my vote' and i had to comment back 'sorry, i can't count this'.....i need to see a clearly defined YES vote in the comments....you can vote YES on any/all entries and yes you can vote for your own entry too....
5. regular ads are always welcome!!!
6. entries will be accepted through monday april 9nth (i'm going an extra day due to the holiday) and i'll post the finalists on april 10th....
7. as always, hem and haw.....ummmm....i think that's it! HAVE FUN!!!!!
