Date: 2012-03-29 06:34 pm (UTC)The top ad puts a lot of emphasis on the caloric value (up to 5100 calories -- per jar, I guess) of the product. This was still not long after WW II and its shortages, so there was a lot of interest in making sure kids got plenty of high energy nutrition.
Translation of the two lower ads:
#1: If my mom has her recipes, I have my own, too: bread and Nutella.
#2: From the cold of Alaska, Yuky says "[Eskimo script]." and you?
Ferrero Nutella is the spreadable cream that has the most friends in the world.

Date: 2012-03-30 06:37 pm (UTC)"By the Power of Nutella, I become Supercrema!" And then her apron turns into a cape as she pushes back the enormous jar by harnessing the 5100 calories of chocolatey energy inside.
