H.G. Wells chases Jack the Ripper to the 1970s. In case you haven't seen this one and you actually want to, I'll warn you that the trailer gives away surprising amounts of the plot, as well as (in my opinion) not measuring up to the film, which I remember enjoying.

I love this movie! I saw it when it came out in theaters. Right at the beginning of the film they show a date to establish the present day - and coincidentally it was the same day we were seeing it!

Malcolm McDowell is adorable in this. So cute.

I totally love this movie! It's one of my favorites. And it's so nice to see Malcolm McDowell as someone other than a fiend!

I watched this when I was way too young, and it scared the hell out of me. Tbh, I'm still pretty creeped out by it.

How is it I have never seen this??? The trailer gave me my own time travel flashback to growing up near San Francisco in the 1970s. That Hyatt hotel was also the setting for Mel Brooks' film High Anxiety.
