Wilson Wear Faultless Nobelt Pajamas 1940s

Fraternity?  Boarding house?  Brothers?

And why wouldn't they be "back in my dresser"???

If this was during WW2 there was probably a shortage.

The first time I saw this picture I got hit by innuendo overload.

The arrow at the crotch with "Noblets stay up with out pressure"

That is some good information. I hate having to work to hard.

During WWII a lot of companies advertised their wares, in order to stay in the public consciousness, even though those wares were unable due to shortages, or due to the company having switched over to producing war materiel, or whatever. I collect magazines from the period, and there's a major theme of “wait 'til the war's over and then you can buy our wonderful thing!”

And I meant to type 'unavailable' above, not 'unable'. :)

Yeah, but I can't imagine a wartime ad showing young men who aren't serving in the military.

Those "types" were not eligible to serve. 4F

Not exactly desirable models. My uncle was ashamed to the day he died that he had been ineligible to serve during WW II.

Love this one, it's innuendo-laden but rather sweet and innocent in a way, too... I feel like there's going to be a pillow fight and lots of giggling any minute now! XD

And who's the guy in the picture on the dresser? Is he the only one rated 1A?

The two blonde guys look as if they might be brothers. Perhaps, the man in the yellow pjs is saying, "You don't mind if my boyfriend borrows your old pjs do ya, bro?"
