I am completely captivated by these  ads - in particular for the many little floating sleepers, each carefully catalogued and named! :D

Are you a busybody? a bird dog? a big boy? streamlined? fitful? topsy and turvy?
Are you perhaps an ostrich, an angel pie, a slumberbug?  Or a jackknife, a cuddler, a "good morning glory"? 
Are you a catnapper? a windmill? expansive? a traveler? a swan diver?
Or even a commando? a twister? a halfback? a cowboy?  a bulldozer?  a mannequin?

Aww, they haven't got the Ballet Dancer another one of their ads showed. I sometimes sleep like that (on my back with one leg bent, the foot against the other knee) but I tend to go for the Angel Pie when it's cold and the Traveller when it's hot.

I'm intrigued by the "Streamlined" woman with her knees up. That cannot be comfortable.

If I can't sleep I sometimes do something even more complicated, putting one knee up while lying on my belly. That is hell on my ankle, if I actually fall asleep like this. Comfortable it is most definitely not!

I do like to sleep with my knees up. Not sure why. Sometimes I have a pillow under them as well.


It might have to do more with me being thin and fit.

When I start out, I'm Commando--spooning my hubby. Then I turn into Angel Pie...and eventually, Jackknife. I don't know why, but I always end up with my arm/hands between my knees.
