People talk about how 'times were simpler then.' They must've been so simple as to be mind numbingly boring if registers and pegboard got everyone excited.

Pegboard in the garage or workshop or shed is helpful. In the kitchen though? Wouldn't bits of grease and dirt from cooking get in the little holes over time and then get behind the pegboard? Ick.
