I like the phones in this one, but someone please TELL me what the hell the kids are saying. The first one I swear is saying ""There's beena Fora, Pera barra's yelly?" (click).

I reblogged your Tumblr post with transcriptions of all but the first kid (who is, I'm pretty sure, saying something about "peanut butter and jelly", but that's all I can make out despite listening to it like a dozen times). Here are the other kids' transcriptions for anyone else who doesn't have Tumblr:

Second kid (in the bath): “I didn’t say anything at all!”

Third kid: “Yes but I’ll have to bring the children.”

Fourth kid: “Waiting for the wind!”

Monkey*: (monkey sounds)

*yes I know it’s actually a chimp, “monkey” is a funnier word.

To me it sounds like the phone says, "Can you sing a song for me?" and then the kid says "You're as beautiful as peanut butter 'n' jelly"... but I'm not 100% sure!! XD

Oh, I hate it when they have mush-mouthed little kids in commercials! It's even worse when it's for a non-kid product, like some old geezer car salesman's grandkids selling Fords or something.

I had a toy phone very like that one! :-D

(But the pre-teen daughter of a friend of mine had to be told what a dial-phone was when she saw one an collectibles shop recently. Gosh that makes me feel old!)
