If you don't know Richard Scarry and his amazing illustrations, ACQUAINT   THYSELF   FORTHWITH. *that last one is Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm :D 

The Beech-Nut company produced a line of young children's cereals with illustrations on them that many seem to think are his.  I know THESE 2001 products by New Organics used his characters, but for the images below, I'll just go with "They're Cute."

I love the kitty!!!

Huckle the cat always bugged me, because he's a boycat AND a calico. Yeah, I was a precocious little cat-loving kid who knew even at the age of four that calicos were always female.

And OMG, that cow reminds me of the Milk Farm sign (familiar to anyone who's driven 1-80 from Sacramento to San Francisco...)
