I'm a milliner, so I absolutely love these. ♥
Old adverts for hats always make me sigh for beauty.

That one caught my eye immediately, too, but how is it a turban?!

I love turbans! I enjoy seeing women wearing them in old movies.

When I was a little girl, we still had to wear hats to church, and I loved wearing all kinds of hats! I wore 'em to play, to go shopping, etc. I'm just a hat kind of gal! :)

I wouldn't mind a tiara, either, LOL! ;)

ok, so i have a tiara. *laughs* one of my friends decided to dub me "princess of everything" and bought me the tiara for my birthday. then told me i had to wear it when she took me to lunch.

well, of course i did! now i just mainly dye my hair pink. it suits me. unfortunately i have a very difficult time finding adult-looking hats, since i have a head with a small circumfrence.

I think they have been trying to bring turbans back for the last two seasons, but I have only ever seen on hipster wearing one, staring pensively up the street.

My favourite is the one in the right-hand corner. Might as well go big once you have committed to the turban.

I think that's Tina Fey wearing the "Beauty crown."

I want almost all of them! Turbans came into style in a big way once women started working in factories and had to keep their hair out of the way. I agree, that middle row is to die for.

Heh, I just discovered today why women in the past used to wear headscarves (I still remember older ladies on the farms in my village wearing them for work when I was a kid). I have long(ish) hair for the first time in my life, and this afternoon I was putting together a piece of furniture - my hair just killed me until I did strange things to it with an elastic bandana. I'd always thought those headscarves came from some outmoded notion of modesty, but I suppose they were really about not being driven to distraction by things moving around on your head.

Or getting your hair caught in something and having chunks ripped out of your scalp!

I hate when that happens!

I love that the $0.69 model is extra-long.

I like the 88 cent one in the first row, it reminds me of the hat Beatrice wore to the royal wedding--the one with the antlers.

I miss Sears catalogs.

I would wear the cushion-brimmed one.
