I kind of agree with both, I like the option to have network TV over an antenna if I don't want to pay for cable. But in June 2009 the cable people just about won.
And I would love year round daylight savings time.
See, I'm from Indiana, and only half the state had daylight savings time until 10 or 15 years ago. The Northern part always changed because of its proximity to Chicago, but the Southern part didn't (something about farmers, you know), until our terrible governor decided to implement it (something about selling the entire state to foreign businesses--note: this is not redneck paranoia, he actually sold a massive state-wide highway that a) nobody wanted, and b) destroyed several small towns completely, to a Chinese company, it's his thing. The thing is, people still complain vehemently twice a year, and I have to admit that I'm still adjusting, although I'm less angry about it than most of them.
I'm all for them picking one time and then leaving it alone. Preferably, I'd like the one where it gets dark later on in the night, instead of at 6 pm.
