high life

That's some living room. I'm pretty sure that's a whole, triangular hunk of meat on the indoor bbq.

That's some risk to take with the floor beneath the stove (not to mention the grease all over the walls.

Her outfit is cute! Silver at the neck instead of pearls and she'd be perfect.

My first thought was, "Gay, straight, bi and trans."

I want that grill! Is it possible that this is supposed to be some sort of outside patio? There were some friends of my folks that had some pretty elaborate outside living/barbecue areas, including a terracotta or brick wall.

Some of those decorations don't look very weather proof, but there are fewer practical problems if it's supposed to be outside than if it's supposed to be inside. That bit of yellow furniture to the right of the beer bottle looks like it could be patio furniture.

I am betting this is outdoors, like a semi-enclosed patio.

The gravel around the grill is the giveaway.

And again with the SERIOUS steaks! The number of people pictured, and the fact that the woman in the foreground has two more next to her ready to go because THEY ARE SO HUGE THEY WON'T FIT ON THE GRILL, has me revising my comment below to read "dinner for 6," rather than 8.

But there's still not enough beer.

Man, with all the sand in that thing, it must stay hot for hours after the coals finally go out. It'd be great for cooler nights on the patio.

Seems like it'd be a pain to keep that pretty white sand clean though. Eventually it'd be all grey from charcoal bits.

Off to Home Depot (or the quarry) for a couple of fresh bags - cheap!

It looks like she's barbequeing a giant slice of pizza.

I could use a big hunk of meat right now.

Ooh! And are those potatoes?

Her legs are all twisted around and she looks like she's about to shove that cob where the sun don't shine. Yikes.

Also, a bunch of drunks and an indoor grill? Goodbye, house!

Looks to me like that's 4 man-sized steaks there.

My guess? Dinner party for 8. In which case there's not enough beer. Particularly Swiller.

Those steaks are so big my stomach hurts. I would not have been good at eating in the 1950s.

You think they like orange?

And geez, who eats steaks like those, other than lions?

Those steaks are huge! I bet they'd cost a pretty penny in real life. And, unless, they like their meat fairly rare, it'll probably take a long time to cook those steaks on that grill.

Before I read the text, I thought it was some African-themed room, or that she'd gone to a Pier 1 clearance sale.

What the heck is that thing hanging from the ox yoke? It looks like a snail that needs a shave.
