Oh, three mealtimes, yeah, okay…

That's called, “Censor-Baiting or, Getting It Past the Radar.” Few past the age of twelve missed it.

It apparently doesn't take much to get her motor running. A garbage disposal made her want to jump her husband's bones that much? Nope. I don't think so.

Just imagine what she'd do if he got her that Kook Center Bing advertised.

This was hilarious. It's the guy's expression that makes it.

…“Hilarious”? As in knee-slapping, shout-out-loud humorous? How so? In what way? It's just an appliance ad! Or are you using that word because that's the plug-in buzzword du jour?

- No, I'm not being snarky. I keep encountering that word here, used always in reference to something not remotely funny but Politically unCorrect by “Women's Studies” standards, always that word only and none other, and I suspect a fashion statement.

So if this appliance ad is stand-up-comedy funny, is “hilarious” by any normal dictionary definition, I'm sure you can explain how, and why you found it so. Yes?

If any other word were ever used, or if that word was used where appropriate - and some ads really are funny - that would be different. But it's always used as you just did - plugged in like a macro to belittle and simper. Always, “hilarious.” Why not say amusing? Or humorous or laughable? Perhaps because that's not approved. Thinking for yourself, deciding for yourself what to say - that's dangerous.

Er, I mean, it's hilarious!

Quietly? I've never met the garbage disposal that could be described as doing its job quietly.
