I had freeze-dried astronaut ice-cream once and it made me cough. Didn't taste half bad though. Now as a cereal accompaniment, I'm not so sure...

The "nourishing" part is suspect too ;) And why no chocolate?

I also think it must be the same stuff as "astronaut ice cream."

I'd like some of that right about now.

This sounds...kind of yummy, actually. I want to try it!

I know... I'm thinking the same consistancy as the mini-marshmallows in Count Chockula, Frankenberry, and Boo-berry.

I'd try it.

If this is that freeze dried astronaut ice-cream stuff, wouldn't it basically dissolve in milk?

Orange?

No thank you.

With the milk, maybe it'd be like a Creamsicle. That sounds pretty appealing to me. Well, as appealing as something this weird could be.

Going half-and-half whey

C'mon, Kellogg's! Either go healthy or just admit you can't even figure a way to get parents to allow ice cream for breakfast!

Those ice cream head characters are terrifying.

I liked freeze-dried "astronaut" ice cream the one or two times I tried it (I could only ever find it at OMSI, a kids' science museum in Portland), then again I was about twelve when I had it. I'd probably try this.

Sounds good.

This cereal reminds me of a cereal from the 80s or 90s that was also an ice cream cereal. It had round pieces that tasted like vanilla(?) and cone-shaped pieces that were the ice cream cones. They were separate, but you could pick them up and put them together like an ice cream cone, if you wanted to. It was pretty good. I can't remember the name or the company that made it, though.
