Don't see how that's gonna push its way through grass any taller than an inch and a half...considering the whole design, not just blade size/position. If ya ain't grooming putting greens but are trying to cut a standard lawn, the question would be, "Why ya cussin', cousin?"

Reel mowers like the one the man has aren't all that great if the grass gets too long. People couldn't put off mowing the lawn back then as much as we do nowadays.
I have a push mower though it's a different design than this one. I don't have to buy gas for it, it makes very little noise, and I get exercise. Win all around! :)
